It always seems impossible until it is done. – Nelson Mandela
Meet Pam.
As a self-described Dreamer, and Woman of Faith, Pam doesn’t worry about tomorrow. Having experienced God’s miracles and wonders in her life has taught her that all obstacles, failures, and struggles that might come her way serve as lessons to ultimately make her a better person. Her motto is to help those around her as much as she can and to make a positive impact on every person she meets.
Having recently earned her degree in Criminal Justice, Pam has since started her professional career. She is currently a federal employee working at the US District Court in DC.
As someone who previously thought her goals were unattainable, Pam proudly shares that with God’s help, family’s support, and with patience she was able to overcome both her hardest task and biggest blessing of all… being a single teenage mom.
Her greatest achievement besides being a mom, as an immigrant from a Spanish speaking country , is to have earned her Criminal Justice degree from Penn State. Being able to accomplish this while working a full-time job and raising her daughter was no easy task but her passion for law and the criminal system was her inspiration.
The Wonder in her Woman is Perseverance!

“ I wanted to leave my country…I did!, I wanted to earn a degree in Criminal Justice, I did!, I wanted to be a federal employee…I am!, I want to run a half marathon…I will! “

Pam’s perseverant spirit causes her to continuously look for the silver lining in everything that comes her way.
Pam’s next goal : running a half a marathon in October !!!
This is Pam’s story.
What’s yours?
